Heels 34I want to share with you all the CRAZY thoughts that go on in my mind on a day to day basis so that those of us that are “crazy” (when I say “crazy” I’m referring to Bipolar) the term “Crazy” just sounds better to me. I hope by reading about my life you can relate and understand that we’re not alone. When I was told I was “crazy” I started doing a lot of research about this disease. I spent many hours in the library, bookstores, and online. I soon became sick of reading about this disease from old, drab, boring, stuffy, not so fun to read books and websites. Nothing out there caught my eye and kept my attention long enough to almost understand what’s going on with me.

I feel like this disease is not detected until the worst scenario or phsycotic break has happened. I hope that by sharing my story I can help others recognize the warning signs early on in life. If you discover the “crazy” disease early with the help of a GOOD doctor and fabulous meds, you can hopefully learn to control the “swings” (cycling of manic depression to mania) enough that you don’t have a full blown “crazy” episode.

When you have all the right tools; Doctor, meds, loving support group, and healthy life style I believe you can have a great shot at living a “somewhat” normal life (Who even knows what normal is?) and most importantly… you can be happy! I’m a living testament to this!

Join me on my journey of self healing and discovery. Every day is a new experience with new twists and turns. I hope I don’t scare or offend you too much. I’m going to be brutally honest but lighthearted, and hopefully funny. Hopefully you can relate and know that you’re not alone!

With Love –
